darlings
no words.
just pictures today.
there is still Much to do.
but we wanted to leave a visual record of a most intriguing day before we get back to being Busy (and productive) once more….
ready?
here we go:
well that was a lovely afternoon and a long ride back.
thanks to Miss Vickie Lester and the Mister for the splendid tea interlude that happened in the middle of the afternoon….
and we did enjoy the deer crossing the road – did you spot them? (no, love, the giraffe were fake – we didn’t take a detour to the Zoo – not today – plus Zoo Drive is closed for some sort of Repairs – we did consider it).
apparently Deer symbolize Artemis, new Beginnings – and other enticing alluring adventures.
gosh.
Those giraffes are stunning! The only way I can tell that they are not alive is the absence of the vivid coloring of the real ones in the African wild.
we DID do a double take in the car ;-)
All these photos are fab. I think my favorite is the one of the mailboxes. At a glance, they almost look like handbags. I love that someone would go to all the effort to organize them in that way.
yes!
that’s true!
what a lovely observation.
handbags waiting for billet doux.
Next door there’s a fiberglass dappled cow… I prefer the giraffes!
we nearly crashed the Prius just to take that shot ;-)
Oooh, tea with the amazing Ms. V, oh I am a wee bit jealous (!) but believing in this lovely sign of good things to come.
It’s a good sign of the present living in a place where people choose to have life size fake giraffe in the garden ;)
