darlings
we feel a little Quiet (in a good way) and resolved in many issues and softly pleased (and yet humble) and also deeply rested and restored.
so just a few words from anais, lucy wadham and the Buddha (gosh, you’re right, that IS an eclectic mix) interspersed with pictures from our day.
before we creep into the boudoir with a vintage hardback memoir from edna ferber (thank you library requested materials service).
from the weekend’s Financial Times (we’re very fond of Ms. Lucy Wadham’s words)
gosh. this is a helpful site for a little more background on the Buddha. *deep_bow_of_respect* OR you could always track down a copy of Mr. Richard Gere’s production made-for-television which we heard is Rather Go(o)d(ly) too.

An autumn storm comes through; the mail box is like this http://silkannthreades.wordpress.com/2014/01/19/life-is-full-of-surprises/ but Mr Amazon’s brown ‘paper’,though sodden, protects the goods (barely ;) ), and it is one of these moments….
Hope clip comes through. I usually mess it up. If not, go here and see what I mean http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BHoDW9f7vY
I did it! I inserted the clip. Yay!
hurrah!!!
the clip was GLORIOUS!
wasn’t Julie Magnificent?
and we just came to visit you – oh NO – nasty people hurting your mail box…..grrrrrrr
Yes, poor mail box, but, all things considered, I thought it might give you a little giggle to imagine the lovely How to Stay Sane in a Crazy World arriving in one of the worst storms in months and being dumped in a very wet postal bucket…..and surviving, rosy cheeked and beautiful, and sanity in tact. What an adventure, what a crazy ride. I am fairly sure that this will be the only copy of the book to land in a bucket box. Photos will be sent (not of the bucket) once the book is properly beribboned for the photo shoot.
DUNKED!
gosh.
how very british boarding school.
so happy in advance of seeing pictures from NZ!
Dunked! Yes.
